Smart Screening
The Smart Screening feature uses RecruitRyte’s AI to evaluate large volumes of candidates against complex, customized criteria. Instead of manually reviewing hundreds or thousands of resumes, you can ask the AI specific questions and automatically surface the strongest matches.
1. Setting Your Smart Screening Criteria
Use the Smart Screening tab to define the precise requirements you want the AI to evaluate.

| Reviewing Profiles | Indicates the total number of profiles the AI will screen (e.g., Reviewing a pool of 1000 profiles…) | Use Chat or Filters first to narrow the pool for more targeted analysis. |
| Existing Criteria | Displays all current screening questions—either saved from previous searches or automatically generated from your initial search. | Approve, modify, or remove criteria using the trash icon. |
| Add New Criteria | Allows you to add new requirements using natural language (e.g., Is the candidate skilled in Tableau or Power BI?) | Add nuanced, non-standard criteria not captured by filters. |
| Update Criteria | Save your changes without starting the screening process. | Use this after adding or modifying questions. |
| Start Smart Screening | Launches the AI screening process. The AI reads each profile and assigns match scores. | Begins screening and moves you to the results screen. |
2. Smart Screening Result Screen
Once screening completes, the results appear in a structured, decision-ready format.
