Do Not Contact Candidates

The Do Not Contact (DNC) list is a protected list of profiles that should never receive outreach from your team. This helps maintain compliance, respect candidate privacy, and protect the reputation of your sending domains and connected mailboxes.

1. Adding a Candidate to the DNC List

There are two ways to add a candidate to the DNC list:

A. From the Profile View

Use this option when reviewing a candidate who should not be contacted (e.g., recently accepted an offer, previously opted out, or requested removal).

  • Open the candidate’s Profile View.
  • Click the Do Not Contact icon (crossed‑out contact symbol) in the header.
  • A Confirmation to add to list dialog will appear.
  • Enter Reason (Optional): Add a note explaining why the candidate is being added to the DNC list (e.g.,
Accepted offer with Company X, Requested removal on 10/2025).
  • Click Add to the list.

B. From the DNC Dashboard (Manual Addition)

You can also manually add entries directly from the DNC management dashboard.

  • Navigate to the Do Not Contact Candidates dashboard (usually under the Search Profiles dropdown).
  • Click Add Candidate.
  • In the dialog, add a candidate by entering either:
    • their Email Address, or
    • their LinkedIn Profile URL.
  • Click Add to This List.

2. Managing the DNC Dashboard

This dashboard displays all profiles that are currently restricted from outreach.

Name & Location Email Action
Shows the candidate’s name and primary location. Displays the email associated with the DNC entry. Use the Delete (trash) icon to remove the candidate from the DNC list, making them eligible for outreach again.
